The objective of the workshop is to facilitate training and discussion among scholars with an interest in the methodologies and good practices of oral history, with a particular focus on their application to the study of film festivals. The seminar meetings, reflections on methods and disciplinary ethics, as well as group work and practical activities, are designed to equip participants with the requisite tools for the collection and valuation of oral sources. Under the guidance of experienced researchers, seminar participants will initiate a project to recover personal stories and memories, which will then be integrated into a specific database dedicated to festival stories.
