Federico Zecca is Associate Professor at the Department of Humanistic Research and Innovation of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, where he has founded the B.A. in Film, Media, Music and Performing Arts Studies (DAMS), which he currently coordinates. He is Principal Investigator of the PRIN 2022 “Reframing Italian Film Festivals: Histories, Politics, Cultures” project, and is also co-chief editor of “Cinergie. Il Cinema e le altre Arti” and of the book series “Media/Eros” (Mimesis) and of “Cinema, media e studi culturali (Meltemi). His latest publications include Oltre l’inetto. Rappresentazioni plurali della mascolinità nel cinema italiano (Meltemi, 2021).
