Giulio Tosi is a research fellow at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and holds a PhD in Visual, Performing and Media Arts from the Department of the Arts, University of Bologna. His research interests include the international circulation of film culture, the history of criticism and periodicals, the material history of cinema, post-war intellectual culture, and film institutions.
